Meet Cat
Hi! I’m Cat Myers, Licensed Independent Social Worker- Supervisor (LISW-S) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I attended a small private Christian university, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work. In 2016, I graduated The Ohio State University with my Master of Social Work degree. As a licensed professional, I have worked in community mental health, group practice, and with DMST survivors in a group home and community setting. I have also spent several years serving as a ministry leader with Youth for Christ in Central Ohio, walking alongside others in both spiritual and emotional growth.
Now I work with teens and women who carry complex stories. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from your sense of self, I want you to know: you’re not alone, and you’re not too much.
In sessions with me, you can expect curiosity, collaboration, and genuine connection. I bring a Millennial mentality into the therapy room: sprinkling in real talk, the occasional slang, and plenty of laughter. Healing is not always academic or heavy. I want you to feel comfortable enough that you’ll be ready to come back and ready to move forward!
I draw from evidence-based practices like:
- EMDR
- Somatic Therapy
- Narrative Therapy
- DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)
- Attachment Theory
- Motivational Interviewing
- Systems Theory
I also believe you are the expert on your life. My role is to come alongside you with tools, support, and deep listening as you choose what healing looks like for you. So, in short, I’m down for whatever. You choose.
As a Christian, my worldview shapes my belief in your inherent dignity and purpose. My faith has been the foundation of hope in my own story, and it fuels my belief that healing and transformation are possible for anyone.
At the same time, I welcome and respect clients from all background and belief systems. My role is to meet you where you are and support your healing and growth in a professional and genuine way, true to who you are.
Still Becoming isn’t just the name of my practice. It’s the truth I believe for all of us. You are allowed to evolve, grow, rest, and rebuild. Let’s do it together.

A little more…
Outside of work, I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who thrives in the beautiful tension between structure and spontaneity. I love being outdoors, I’m currently in the planning stage of homeschooling our kids, I can usually be found solving the world’s problems with my friends, and dreaming up new ways we can all experience a little more joy, freedom, and fun!
